We are seeking someone with entrepreneurial ideas and energy for working with plants, young people, and social media. The farm team (Farm Director, Farm Educator, Entrepreneurship Coordinator, and Farm Apprentice) works together throughout the year to run the farm and deliver meaningful environmental programming. During the main camp season (June 23 - Aug 18) the workload will shift towards helping youth learn about the multiple aspects of running the farm businesses, delivering programming to campers 5-13 years old, and summer camp supervision duties. After the main camp season, focus will shift towards bringing produce to markets and continuing the production and sales of pesto in the city. Availability after Aug. 18 is flexible as full-time or part-time.
*five days off may be taken during the contract. To be negotiated between Farm Educators and acting supervisors.
